The 2012 Manchester Children’s Book Festival

The Endangered Species colouring books have proved very popular, so much so that Karoline has been invited to take part in this years Manchester Children's Book Festival. The festival will be eleven days of fun, events and activities to inspire children to read.This really calls for an expert and now that Kate Hindley is a fully fledged children's book illustrator she is definitely the best person for the job. Both Kate and Karoline will at the Festival Family Fun Day on Saturday the 30th of June where they will be be exhibiting and selling a selection of their work including Endangered Species colouring books, Magic colouring books and Magic postcard books. Limited Edition Endangered Species

Endangered Species is a new limited edition publication and it features some of the illustrators from the Magic postcard book and Magic Show exhibition. Even though Endangered Species is small enough to fit in your pocket it still has plenty of illustrations and includes work by Kate Hindley, Gemma Correll, Ruth Green, Mina Braun, Beth Morrison, Karoline Rerrie and Helen Entwisle. And as if that's not enough for you they've even managed to squeeze in 26 different animals. Endangered Species also has two different covers so is either a zine or a colouring book depending on people's preferences. The zine cover was designed by Helen Entwisle hellomemo.com and she has copies of Endangered Species for sale in her etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/memohelen aswell as new cards and tote bags. The colouring book cover was designed by Mina Braun minabraun.com and she will be selling copies at the next Design Market at the Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh.
